We are offering virtual consultations and electronic signatures. Working with these technologies is a great way to get started on the outdoor living space you want today, instead of waiting. ARCHADECK’S PLAN FOR OPERATING DURING THE COVID -19 SITUATION Our first priority is the health of our customers, our employees and our tradesmen during this difficult period. We plan to continue designing projects for interested customers and building beautiful backyard structures. In order to do so while remaining vigilant regarding health best-practices, our commitments during this period are as follows: • We will carefully monitor the health of all of our employees and our tradesmen, and we will not allow anyone representing Archadeck to work at your home or in our office if they show any signs of any type of illness. This may extend our lead times on projects if key personnel are ill, but we can all agree that safety is the first priority. • We will offer our customers the option of meeting in our office or at their home for any design consultations. In either case we will respect “social distancing” norms to avoid any possible spreading of germs. Don’t be offended when we don’t shake hands – it’s a hard habit to break but we are going to be diligent about it. • If meeting at your home, we will conduct all meetings and discussions outside. • We can also arrange a virtual design consultation, where we conduct an extensive interview and discussion of your project using teleconferencing tools. During that call, we can give you a rough estimate of pricing for the project you have in mind. If you want to move forward, we can then come take measurements and photos of the job site (you don’t need to be present) and from that we can prepare a detailed project proposal including pricing and proposed scopes of work. • During construction we will emphasize phone and virtual communications over face-to-face discussions, and when face-to-face discussions are necessary, they will be held outdoors and at a safe distance. Our goal is to offer our customers the same outstanding customer service they have come to expect while at the same time ensuring that we do everything we can to prevent the spread of this virus. About Us I began my association with Archadeck in 2001 when I was working for a subcontractor that Archadeck of Columbus was employing for patio installations. I had been working in the Landscape/Hardscape industry for quite a few years at the time and immediately noticed a difference in how Archadeck operated in comparison with other deck companies that we worked with. Over the years of working with Archadeck on numerous projects, large and small, I came to realize the importance of what they were selling; beautiful designs, top-notch craftsmanship and a world class customer experience. This is what drove me to start working for Archadeck in January of 2011 and eventually buying the company in 2016.
